Hi I'm Kate. I'm from the suburbs of Detroit, MI and I enjoy photography, music, wearing vests, and pineapple. I enjoy theater-- setbuilding is my thing-- and really any form of art. Eager to learn, excited for my future, I feel I'm in a pretty good place in life. I love to laugh and make people laugh. Sports are not my thing, but I enjoy being at football games because I'm usually performing in the halftime show on Colorguard. The viola IS an instrument, and it's JUST as important as the violin, cello, or bass.

New Stuff! / Update of My Life ;)

So I just added a bunch of deviations. I realized it had been ages since I was here and yesterday when I came on I had over 100 devwatches and like 20 messages. Then I saw that my gallery was lacking a certain up-to-date display of my talent... So I decided to add some of my favorite pictures. There's a ton, feel free to look around! :D

On a more personal note, I'm leaving for college in 16 days! Can you believe it? Michigan State University, here I come! It might actually be 22 days... There's some fogginess as to whether or not I'm actually an alternate for the Colorguard. If I am, it's 16, and if not, it's 22 days. I should check that out. Anyway, I'm really excited for all that's to come! I'm majoring in Art History and Visual Culture, and (hopefully) minoring in Film Studies, with a Specialization in Fiction Film Production. (Boy, what a mouthful. Summer classes will probably be needed. Yuck.) Then it's off to film school to [eventually] be a Director of Photography!

Lol, thanks for the add, yeah Ninja's are awesome. Btw, I've played the viola for 11 years now, it's good to meet a fellow violist, we're a rarity these days.
